If you are interested in learning how to windsurf or just have some beach fun ....then here's your chance.

The Force 10 club is proud to announce our annual Beginners’ Weekend ... August 22 & 23, 2009 at Little Bow Lake (1.5 hrs S of Calgary). Entrance to the lake is from the East side ... head for Lomond, then turn South. Easy to get to from Keho Lake (see attached Map).

Little Bow is a smallish, weed free lake with sandy beaches and a sandy bottom ... works on any wind direction ... but is especially good in strong NW conditions.

Come down for the day, or come camping for the weekend next to a nice sandy beach. All equipment will be provided. This will be lots of fun! Contact Doug ross@uleth.ca , or Kevin secretary@force10.ca  for more info.

This is the last year for the beach as the Water Resource Managers are raising the levels 4 m next year.  Get it while you can.

To help people avoid becoming a "Lost trying to find Little Bow Victim"
Its Quite easy to get lost so follow directions carefully, especially the last bit.

South to Vulcan on 23
Then turn East on 534 towards Lomond.
@ Lomond turn South on 845.
Drive for approx 17-18km(my estimate from Mapquest)
You have to cross over 2 canals before turning off to right onto texas gate/dirt road.(small signpost)

(NB DO NOT turn right off 845 onto 529 signposted Little Bow Provincial Park (big blue signpost) IGNORE this ,
this is a different park , continue driving South......)

See you on the water!
